Castor oil is quite thick but it is not overwhelming at all. It can be massaged directly onto the skin, into the scalp, on hair or on the face in circular motions to ensure maximum penetration of the product.
If you desire thicker-looking lashes or denser-looking eyebrows, just take a pump onto your palm and apply it with your finger or a q-tip onto the desired area. Regular application over a period of time is likely to give you best results.
