Also known as an ‘uber nourisher’ in ancient Ayurvedic texts, Black Gram is an extremely potent moisturizing and unctuous ingredient that not only moisturizes but also nourishes all 7 tissues of the body.
Although Black Gram found its fame as a staple food in South-East Asia and the Middle East, Ayurveda has known its powers to deeply nourish and support the skin for centuries.
