AYUTTVA's Ayurvedic fine-cultured Ghee is made under the full moon from 100% pasture-raised cultured Jersey cow milk.
To ensure all the energy-uplifting properties of this superfood remain intact, a unique Ayurvedic process involving low cooking temperature is employed.
Apart from preserving its pure rich and buttery flavour, this unique process also makes the Ghee nutrient-dense and help preserve the rich essential fatty acids in their original state.
Our Ghees DO NOT need refrigeration, unlike store-bought butter. All lactose, casein and protein solids are completely removed, making our Ghees extremely pure and shelf stable! As a matter of fact, our Ghees enhance with age!
Ghee, as a cooking lubricant, is the most widely used method in the world. Because Ghee has such a high smoke point, it makes for the best and the healthiest alternative to cooking oils.
The best part about using Ghee for cooking is that it can be used for frying and sauteing but it will never change to hydrogenated fat or trans-fat, which most cooking oils do.
Ghee, along with rice or dal (lentils) are considered a delicacy in many parts of the world. All you need to do is replace your processed butter for a bottle of Ghee.
You can also use it to grease your pan to make healthy pancakes or pour one or two tablespoons of Ghee into your salad and consume it daily.
Have a glass of hot milk every day with a tablespoon of Ghee mixed in it. Due to its short-chain molecular structure, it acts as an excellent carrier oil, which means your body gets the required nutrients efficiently.

Mix a few drops of Ghee with any essential oil of your choice in hot water while running your bath. This keeps skin looking soft and healthy.
Ghee can be massaged on the scalp to moisturize the scalp. Its moisturizing properties helps remove dryness. It should be warmed a bit and massaged into the hair roots with fingertips and the palms.
The hair should be washed with warm water and a herbal shampoo after an hour.

The salient difference between Ghee and butter are their smoke points. While butter can smoke and burn at 350°F (177°C), Ghee can withstand up to 485°F (252°C) heat. This makes it a perfect substitute for sauteing or frying your foods.
Secondly, unlike an Ayurvedic Ghee which is light, warm and has an ‘uplifting’ quality, butter is cold, dense and has a heavy ‘descending’ energy to it, which makes it difficult for the body to easily absorb the important essential fatty acids that are known for protecting and repairing the body.
This short-chain saturated fat is so light that research has shown that consuming Ghee regularly helps lower ‘bad cholesterol’*
Now, because Ghee separates milk from fat, it essentially becomes a lactose-free substitute for people craving for dairy products.

Did you know that the effect of Ghee also varies from the breed of the cow the milk is derived from?
While most consumers might not be aware of the difference between A1 and A2 milk, however many might have heard of the endless debate surrounding it.
A1 milk is produced from the ‘all-American’ black and white Holstein cows that are, in fact, mutated breeds. They are mostly watery and lack certain enzymes. Not surprisingly, statistics also point towards many health conditions that have been caused due to the consumption of A1 milk.
On the other hand, A2 milk comes from Jersey cows which are a superior breed to those that produce A1 milk.
