In Ayurveda, a cleanser has never been a soap in the modern sense. In fact, face cleansers need not be soaps at all – and globally, everyone is waking up to this fact now.

Soaps are made with oil, water, and lye, and are then chemically changed into soap (a process called "saponification").

But Ayurveda has its own recipes for face cleansers - recipes that don't include any harmful sulfates, harsh exfoliating acids, or chemicals.

1. The very first time you gently rub in a dime-sized dollop of this face wash in your moist skin, you’ll feel the coarse, crushed real coconut granules dissolve like magic under your fingertips.
