Certainly. Hi, I'm The Ayurveda Experience, a house of brands that specializes in creating the best of Ayurvedic Skincare. Not any derivative of Ayurveda, but pure, authentic Ayurveda. That’s my main goal. I have a team of Ayurvedic experts and Doctors who’ve spent a major chunk of their lives understanding the real potency of Ayurvedic skincare and how it is still relevant today.

What do you exactly mean by authentic Ayurvedic skincare? I mean, what’s the difference between your Ayurvedic skincare and others?

That’s a great question. A fair conclusion I’ve drawn from years of being the embodiment of Ayurveda, is that a lot of people tend to confuse Ayurvedic skincare with natural skincare. They believe that all it takes to make any skincare Ayurvedic is to simply add any random Ayurvedic ingredient to it and voila! But that’s not how it works. Specificity of herbs, the amalgamation of those herbs in the right proportions and at the right temperature to ensure perfect concentration of herbs for effective results, these are the things that make Ayurvedic skincare so incredibly good for you and effective. I’m emphasizing the word ‘effective’ so much because a common belief is that natural skincare might be good for you, but it doesn’t deliver results like chemicals do, which is why people choose chemicals over naturals. That’s a notion propagated not because it’s true, but because a lot are oblivious to the fact that not JUST natural skincare but natural and scientifically made skincare is effective.

Wow! So, you follow these rules? Your skincare products have been made by amalgamating specific herbs, at the right temperature and all?

Yes, like I said, I’m a house of brands. So, I carry a brand called iYURA that has mastered the art of making skincare products by following these rules of amalgamating or ‘cooking’ (yes, cooking!) specific herbs together by following the methodology prescribed in Ayurvedic scriptures. In fact, I also provide guaranteed 100% safe products, compliant with US regulations. I have worked across all standards, USP, US-FDA Cosmetic, AHPA (American Herbal Product Association), Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India and even European cosmetic regulations. Apart from this I also conduct other quality tests such as Iodine value, peroxide value, Acid value, saponification value, refractive index, specific gravity, wt/ml, unsaponifiable matter and mineral oil tests to ensure optimal manufacturing practices, assurance that each batch is as consistent and uniform as possible to work as expected.

But really though, why do you only have 2 products, and what do you promise that no other skincare regimen doesn’t?

Well, it’s just that thing about how people don’t realize the importance of having a well-rounded skincare regimen that’s not too complicated. Because this is something you’ll have to stick with for a long time so you really shouldn’t go wrong with it. And the chances of you messing up an overly intricate day and night skincare regimen are way too high! Also, if you consistently use skincare that does not work for you, your skin troubles would exacerbate.

That is true, but how hard could it be to maintain a skincare regimen? No offense!

Haha, none taken. In fact, that’s a good question. It's one thing to attempt to find your perfect skincare routine by trying out different options, but it is completely different to understand how to use the products correctly. It is very important to use the products in their suggested orders - the suggested order being from thinnest to thickest formulations. This ensures easy permeation of lightweight serums and formulations through the skin, without having to cut through thick layers of other formulations. It is also important to give your first formulation ample time to seep into your skin before you go ahead and apply the next. Also, making sure the right combination of products is used is just as important. For example, you shouldn't use retinol and vitamin c together, on the same day, as they end up nullifying each other's effects due to their different PH requirements. And this is what makes your day-and-night skincare routine exceedingly difficult. A simple and elegant duo can work just as effectively as any other combo with multiple products. Lesser products in your day and night skincare regimen would allow you to make fewer mistakes with your routine and ensures the products are being taken up by your skin properly.

So, coming back to my question, what else makes you stand out more than any other Day and Night skincare combos?

Well, apart from the fact that your day and night skincare regimen should not be too complex, it should also ideally have day-and-night skincare products that play well-defined roles. That would be Manjish Glow Elixir. Like Kesaradi, this was also made by following the texts of an Ayurvedic scripture called ‘Chakradutt’. It contains a very potent Ayurvedic herb called ‘Manjistha’. This herb is known in the world of Ayurveda for its incredible even-toning and skin purifying properties. It is often added to face care products to make the complexion even and tone down the appearance of uneven spots to give a relatively more even-looking complexion. There’s a story to that. Like I said, it was made by following ‘Chakradutta’, there’s a quote from this Ayurvedic scripture about this formulation. It goes, “One who massages her face with it regularly for 7 consecutive nights, gets skin with a glow that's reminiscent of the attractive radiance of gold!”

Hahaha, no one would. That's not what Manjish does! It makes your skin shine like gold does, not actually turn you golden... your skin will glow from within!
